Terms of use

These terms cover the Igama app and this website, both made by Crafted Bits. Using either one means you accept them.

The game is free

Igama costs nothing to play, and every language and level is open to everyone. Hints are paid for by watching a short ad. There is no subscription and nothing is held back behind a paywall. We may change that in future, and if we do we will say so before it happens.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in details to yourself. One account per person. Do not sign up on behalf of someone else.

Chat rooms

Each language has a room, and it is a shared space. Do not post abuse, hate speech, threats, spam, or anything that is not yours to post. Do not spoil a level's answer for people who have not reached it yet. We can remove messages and suspend accounts that break this, and we do not owe an explanation before doing so.

The leaderboard

Play the game as it is meant to be played. Scripting the app, tampering with your device clock, or using more than one account to climb the ranks will get your scores removed and your account suspended.

The words

Word lists, artwork, the name and the look of the app belong to Crafted Bits. You may share your result grid anywhere you like, that is the point of it. You may not extract the word lists or rebuild the game from them.

What we do not promise

The app is provided as it is. We try to keep it working, and we cannot promise it never breaks, never loses a streak, or is available every minute of every day. Where the law allows it, we are not liable for losses arising from using it.

Ending it

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app. We can close an account that breaks these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
